The Vaughn Velocity V10 Intermediate Goalie Catcher features a completely redesigned shape aimed at maximizing net coverage, including a new wide span T-web design, one-piece cuff and thumb construction, and an easy-close system with a deep pocket area. Notable comfort and performance enhancements consist of a molded palm and front thumb insert, a deeper back thumb profile, double-layer reinforced finger perimeter, HD foam in the back pad, and a finger tip deflecting rail.

The new design incorporates a reinforced T-top for added web stability, an inner hand strap for retention and control, a cuff without binding for increased blocking surface, and mesh finger stalls for comfort and heat dispersion. Additional improvements include added padding in the wrist strap, heat moldability for a precise fit, a 43" perimeter size, a 60° angle palm break with easy flexibility, and defined break points for effortless closing.
